1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Child Focused Co-Parenting ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Child Focused Co-Parenting is a platform designed to help separated or divorced parents co-ordinate parenting responsibilities, share information about their children, and communicate securely. The Service is intended for use by parents, guardians, and other persons with parental responsibility.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: harass, abuse, or threaten other users; upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content; share false or misleading information about a child; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts; or use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
5. Children's information
Information about children stored on the Service is treated with the highest level of care. You represent that you have the legal right to share and store information about any child you add to the Service. You must not add information about a child without appropriate legal authority to do so.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal data.
7. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Child Focused Co-Parenting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
